Why Ballroom Dance?
Dancing is good for your health and may also be good for your mood. It has been shown to reduce depression, anxiety, and stress and boost self-esteem, body image, coping ability, and overall sense of well-being, with the benefits lasting over time. In one study, it even helped control “emotional eating” in obese women who eat as a response to stress.
It's also a great way to meet people! There are many opportunities to ballroom dance in the Philadelphia area.
Looking to Compete or Get a Degree?
Peter has trained many professional dance teachers towards their Associates, Licentiate and Fellowship degrees in ballroom dancing. A certified trainer for professionals and amateurs, Peter has judged many ballroom dance competitions. He has been a guest-teacher in Bejjing, Shanghai and Qingdao (China), in Cuba, and in Germany.

Wedding Dance Lessons
GETTING MARRIED?
We have taught hundreds of wedding couples their First Dance, garnering rave reviews! The wedding dance routine you will learn will move around the dance floor counter-clock-wise; it will have a choreographed beginning, a middle, and a beautiful ending.
It's strongly suggested that couples preparing their wedding dance, take at least 5 hours of private lessons in order to get the desired results. Peter will custom-choreograph a routine to music of your choice or ours.
We can give wedding dance lessons to entire wedding parties, including not only the wedding couple, but the bridesmaids and bridegrooms, the ring-bearer and flower girl, as well as combinations such as father-daughter, mother-son (in-law), etc. We take pride in doing this, and you'll find it's great fun!
